Dear readers most of us that read Jim's daily gold are looking to prepare on the
cheap. and still survive. we have our food-stores and other items that we feel we will
need if TSHTF.We have tried to cover the basics but every one will need things in the
future that break, run out of,or forgot because of brain fart.Alzheimer's or we took pity
on a worthless family member who didn't have squat when they showed up.. Gold!!! yep
yuppie heaven, silver some but still pricey, extra grain sure still cheap a good trade
good that you can eat.A lot of sites say ammo but i have a problem with trading that
{don't want to arm any one i don't sleep with} .Hm-mm alcohol is a good choice cheep
lasts forever can cook with it heat with it disinfect with it, and may have to shoot your
drunk neighbor because he hit on your wife OK alcohol is still worth trading or making
with extra grain! lets see lights i agree with Jim dollar store leds.woth 30 times after
a collapse .now path lites the solar kind cost maybe 2$ each that's a battery and charger
I've found them 8 for 12$ on sale.wonder what that will bring.a lot of items will make
for great barter but i have one item that i keep and add to every month.you see I'm to
poor to buy gold but have one trade good that i can demand gold from yuppie flea bags for
.COLMAN FUEL its cheaper than gold or silver and worth more.i read that 1 gallon of gas
has the same energy as 500 man hours, 700 if its unionized.A gallon seem to be an
insignificant amount in this day and age . stop and think on a moped or scooter that
could be 100 plus miles in 3 hours on foot that would be 4 days or so . in a small
gen-set like Jim's 10 minutes a day to charge battiers in the winter for20 or 30 times .
Now consider fire wood you can cut a tree down in a minute and chunk it up in a few more
i believe used right you could make a gallon do 3 to 5 cord or more with a little hand
work. heat and cook fire for a winter.if a total collapse happens how long will a yuppies
stored gas last a year max even stabilized regular pump gas goes stale Coleman fuel is
ultra refined and will last 10 plus years it is unleaded gas, you can do any thing with
it you do with gas now.China marts price is 6.78 a gallon silver is 25 plus gold 1300
plus 5 years in to a collapse 10 gallons of Coleman should be worth an ounce of gold or
more.if you have it and learn to nurse its use it would be worth more than any shinny
medal in a safe ever would. The opinion expressed are my own. mister dank in may or may
not agree comment's welcome i have thick skin i have owned a connivance store gas station
for 10 years after road whores ,crack heads and deadbeats ,i cant be offended . best of
luck we all need it Gary in bama

Gary,
Thanks for the tip on Coleman fuel as a long-term storage alternative to plain ol' gas. I never considered it. It is awfully damn expensive, but for a chainsaw or mini generator it would be a good investment.
"...the same energy as 500 man hours, 700 if it's unionized." You have a little Spirit of Bison bite in ya!
I agree with you about not trading ammo away. It could be lead that will 'boomerang' on you.
I'm storing vodka now. Grain-into-alcohol (quality product) is easier said than done. Although I'd trust a southern good ol' boy to make likker, us yankees would likely just blow ourselves up.
Whole heartedly
