I hate you, but I don't know why

I HATE YOU, BUT I DON’T KNOW WHY


A question from a minion that I don’t think I answered very well. If condensation isn’t a concern, does storing ammo outside ( such as in a shed rather than indoors ) harm it at all? I personally see little reason to worry. I’ve bought three decade old ammo still stored in cloth bandoleers and it fired fine. And the commies sell the carbine rounds in metal sardine cans, apparently with few problems ( and wouldn’t a lot of that go to tropical countries with no air conditioning? ). I’m asking for input in case I’m missing something here. If it hasn’t already been answered last weekend in the comments section ( and by the way, if you don’t think anyone will read a response to a long ago article, feel free to add it to the current comment section. Just refer to the article you are commenting on ).

A minion seems to be bent out of shape with me using Google for this blog. Something about easier CIA monitoring or something. Hell, I assume everything I do online and through the mail has the potential to be monitored by the Stasi. I can’t see why I’d be considered a threat. I don’t advocate revolution. Just the opposite. I think it’s a far better idea to sit back and let the other damn fool revolt. We can be mere spectators. The PTB are not idiots. They know how to pay off everybody. As things get worse, more folks get desperate for Obammy Bucks. So they will narc on you if you try to upset their payoff delivery. Lifelong friends, family, anybody. You would be a damn fool to think your actions would be supported. The sheeple want the system to continue. Just leave them alone and the system will crash without any help from you. In fact, business as usual will bring collapse quicker than revolution. Just enjoy the show. I use Google because I’m not a computer nerd. I can’t be bothered worrying about how to keep a blog running. I have no aptitude for it and I certainly don’t have the time. I leave for work at 5:45 and get home at 5:00. That includes paid time working, my bike commute, an hour on the Internet prior to clocking in and an hour fifteen minutes lunch ( when I write most of these articles ). At five I’m bathing ( remember, no heat overnight so I dare not bath in the morning ), then I’m cooking. After clean up and an hour reading I pay cards with the wife and then we watch an hour and a half TV. On the weekend I’m mostly reading or sitting around relaxing. When the weather is okay I’m doing an outside project twenty minutes a day. You want me to learn how to restore a crashed web site when? And devote hours to programming when? I don’t mind spending free time writing or reading because both are fun and relaxing. But computer work? Hell no. And, as a bonus, Google throws me a bone revenue wise on ads.

Hate, as I’m sure I’ve mentioned a time or two, is a necessary survival skill. When you hate someone it is a lot easier to kill them in cold blood. I’m not talking about one of your own tribe members, but outsiders. Which is where bigotry and racial problems get a bad rap. If you are brown or black and whitey hates you, it isn’t personal. It certainly isn’t about your skin color. But because most folks have zero knowledge of anthropology they don’t think through why they hate someone. They just know, culturally, that they are supposed to. Remember, culture is the way to train your tribe how to act without the need to make and enforce laws. Taboos are much more effective than codified laws since everyone religiously enforces them. With laws you can get away with bad behavior until caught. With culture, you are shunned if you disobey. I’m not saying you should be racist. Skin color is only a tribal marker, and sometimes a poor one at that. But I also think it is stupid to think We Can All Get Along. Nationalism is a poor tribal substitute. After the collapse, in most areas color will again be a dividing line. Not because one race is better than another but because your tribe is better than all others.

One of the confusing things to folks is how to eliminate bad behavior. It is confusing because nothing works ( unless we were all smoking dope, which probably won’t happen ). It doesn’t work because it goes against human nature. Which evolved to keep us alive. A woman is supposed to want to nest and pop out puppies. A man is supposed to want to kill dangerous outsiders. When a female, reared in the more gentle arts, becomes confused at the venom spewed by a male, she is forgetting that the sexes are supposed to be as different as night and day. I had a minion write me, confused at the hate exposed by another writer. Evidently there were harsh words exchanged. Now, I can see both sides. Why can’t we get along, being together in the same boat as it were. And, frustration on the part of the other for his point not being taken. It is natural for one side to want to talk it out and for the other to fly into a rage. It is how we are programmed. One isn’t better than the other, they just ARE. Yes, we must make an effort to try to get along with others, at least while the artificial tribal erasures are in effect. Blowing up at what is viewed as no provocation by one but not the other isn’t necessarily proper decorum, but it at least should be attempted to be understood. We should try to remain civil, but it isn’t always possible. And, guys, while you might think anger and hate are natural ( it is, for you ), you need to understand that public consensus is a feminine thing( the back stabbing is the flip side of that coin ). You wanting to win is your thing, her wanting to get along is hers. I will say getting along will help us all in the learning process, but hate is going to seep in time to time.

I think human intelligence is a bit overrated. We still act like feces flinging monkeys because that is what we will always be. Our brain power is mostly directed at building, sustaining, attempting to maintain during a decline and rebuilding the local culture that helps feed us. We don’t apply computer like intelligence to figuring out how to act. Rather, we blindly follow cultural dictates that were collectively constructed previously. Do you wonder why you forget things more as you age? Because the brain will only remember so much. Learn something new, forget something old. Old dudes are wise through experience, but that wisdom takes up memory so they have to forget something else. Like where they left the car keys or how to dress in agreeable color combinations. All the other brain functions are built in survival skills. Our ability to learn is the ability to absorb cultural laws. While you wait the invention of room temperature fusion, the scientists are busy keeping the old petroleum society barely functioning. And they’ll hate you for trying to stop them.
