Canned Veggies Can Kill You

Wheat beans rice the basics of all prepping larders bland to most after a few meals

.So what do most people do, they look to, canned veggies to break the monotony i did to.

I have over 10 cases of assorted vegetable stuff we stuck back .Today i am making a pot

of vegitable soup i opened 2 cans tomatoes 1 corn 1 green bean 1veg-all forgot 1can

carrots .Put in 4 potatoes and some cabbage made for a full pot sounds like a good meal

for 4 with plenty left . Now today i am bored i read the calorie counts on the cans i

used 2 cans tomatoes 7 servings 30 calories a serving 210 total corn 3 servings 60

calories 180 total green beans 3 at 20 calories 60 total carrots 3servings at 25 ea total

75 calories veg-all was 3 at 60 calories for 180 total so this pot of soup before the

taters has705 calories for 4 peoplethats 6 times say 69cents 4.14 for the meal . Yes I'm

over weight but 1/4 of 705 calories isn't enough for any body.Right now its not a problem

but in a collapse i mite not be able to make up the calories. Can vegetables do not have a

calorie count high enough to justify a large inventory . i will be eating what i have

till gone and laying in higher calorie foods in their place. Hell ravioli's has 520

calories a can for 79 cents .the basics in large amounts, canned meats stews and soups as

you can afford , if you want veggies grow them the calorie cost and storage space isn't

there thanks I'm going to go eat my share of soup a whopping 175 calories. plus a grilled

cheese now that i did the math
