GUEST ARTICLE
My regular article was posted as usual. See below.

this article is on a grain that has multiple use but most people think of it as feed
for animals .Corn the largest crop in the USA. its used in almost everything we eat drink
and drive. Now as a survival food wheat is still #1 but i rank corn as a close second .Yes
I know its not complete without beans but it has a longer storage life than most other
grains and it can be found at any feed store cheap around here its 8.00 a 50 lb bag for
clean seed /feed corn some farmers will let it go for 5.00 as field run in bulk and your
barrels.now a barrel will hold almost 350 lbs and its hard to move but if you have room a
few stuck back could be a value worth the effort .A 1/2 ton of corn will keep you in
cornbread a long time but it will feed a lot of chickens goats or hogs if you were to
have them. I have covered what most every one here know and i have you yawning WAKE UP.To
me the best part of corn is its ability to be fermented and turned in to ethanol, corn
lick er,mt dew.stump water. No i am not advocating it for drink grain alcohol has many
uses beyond drink its a great antiseptic for wound care good for cooking when your not
able to have smoke could be used as a fuel if it was needed in a chainsaw or any small
engine in an emergency. The making of {moonshine} is readily available here on the web so
look it up .Now if your starving it should be a food but if you have extra brew it up and
get the alcohol and feed the mash that's left to the animals it will have less starch but
it will have a lot of protein in it from the yeast..At this time making ethanol at home
is against the law with out a federal license but downloading the info or ordering a book
is a must for a prepper even if you are a tea toddler.with a 1/2 ton of corn its possible
to get over 20 gallons of 95% pure alcohol and still have 8 to 9 hundred pounds of feed
for livestock.

Jim, can you fix the format of guest posts? It's tedious to readious.

You are right that the pipe system does not work for heat if your dwelling is warmer than the underground temperature. If you heat the dwelling to some higher temperature than the underground temp, the pipe would not circulate much air at all."
The house is warmer than the air in underground tubes. Warm air rises. When warm air exits a vent in the roof, ambient air pressure 15 psi, fills that partial vacuum and
drives air from underground tube into the house. Similarly, when you suck on a straw, creating a partial vacuum, it is ambient air pressure that drives the water to your mouth.
BTW inversion factor means cold air sinks. In stores you see open top freezers that keep frozen foods frozen.
Upright refrigerators spill cold air when you open the door, and must chill the air after you close the door. You could set temp to 40F and use a chest type freezer for refrigerator.
