Thoughts

Sometimes I think we have been preparing for the collapse so long we didn't notice when it happened! Maybe some of us expected a mushroom cloud or a incoming asteroid but didn't think much about world wide economic collapse being significant.

I am not an economist but I know when half of all the wheeling and dealing going on in the world don't have anything to do with tangible goods but are instead derivatives( pieces of paper) you assign a value in your head, we are broke.It's like I write the word car on a piece of paper and then sell it to you for 15,000 dollars. Try getting in and driving off! Imaginary value,dummy. I have a rock that is pretty,if I say it is worth a million dollars and you offer me a dollar for it,then it is worth a dollar.The economy didn't collapse it merely adjusted down to reality.Unfortunately for us, the result is the same.

When McDonald's employees started buying $250,000.00 houses we should of had a clue someones lending practices needed looked at. But noooooooooooo! We are Americans,we are entitled. Says who? These con men couldn't have done this if we weren't greedy and stupid.You bought the 85 thousand dollar house for 300,000 thousand dollars? The con men loaned you the money but YOU AGREED TO THE DEAL! Take responsibility for it! Your own greed bit you in the ass!

My father bought a 3 bedroom brick house with a full basement for 15 thousand dollars in 1954. Of course, It measured 1200 sq ft., about the size of a living room today. my bedroom wouldn't have made a good walk in closet by today's standards.My father was so proud he thought he was king. By the way, the cellar under the front porch had shelves full of mason jars and can goods(For when the commies bombed). they hadn't invented the microwave yet.( everything was slow food, get it?)

Today, 35 year old think they are entitled to a lifetime of ever bigger and more expensive homes.No home will ever be big enough to house those egos. These are the kids that had to have the latest 3 ring binder for school even though there was nothing wrong with last years. these are the same kids that spent more on skateboard wheels and decks and crap then I spent on car maintenance.

I have never had a gym membership, I worked my butt off instead.Do we really need more lawyers? Why not let a couple of hundred thousand die off first? Look at all the economic analysts we sent to college. Don't know the difference between real money and paper. Maybe they should have gotten jobs sweeping the sidewalks or something they could handle.If your child is one of the 50% of the world population that has a 100 IQ or less don't waste money on college, send him to trade school and give him realistic future. How could a genius like you spawn a regular person,well ask yourself what world changing contributions have you made.

If you are in out of the wind,warm,dry and your stomach is full of good warm food, shut up! Quit your whining you sniveling crybaby. If life is so hard, just die, but have a little dignity about it.Don't worry, we will give you a 20,000 dollar funeral which will damn near bankrupt your family but your ego will be serviced one last time.

I think the people who are prepping are in reality,surviving-now. their way of life is sustaining them through the hard times now, today. they are not thinking about their next mansion, they are concerned with their next meal. Laugh if you want but that makes sense to me.

If you watch TV you are told everyone is supposed to grow up,go to college, make lots of money doing some brilliant mental(non physical) activity and live in a mansion.who is going to build the mansion? do you want a newer ,faster laptop or a complete set of mechanics tools? Or both? Do you like sidewalks? they did not appear by magic? Some one's son put them there. Has everyone lost their mind? Who feeds all these genius supermen? Who grows their food? Who transports it to market? No one is going to like this but learn and know your place in this world. Be realistic! We have been conditioned to be ashamed if we didn't go to college,have dirty calloused hands or make something tangible like a house or sidewalk or maybe teaching a child how to read. Something real. As compared to a computer simulation of real life.

Did watching Green Acres make you want to grow up and be a farmer. No, farmers are dumb and poor and get dirty. OHHHHH! All Harley riders are drug dealing criminals. The truth is most bikers are successful mechanics,or welders or plumbers or some other trade. Most bikers are freedom loving Americans who are veterans. The powers that rule have used the TV for over 50 years to brain wash 2 generations of Americans to believe whatever they wanted them to believe.The truth is most farmers if given a chance would never choose to do anything else.They love what they do and are proud to be farmers.

As a result, instead of a whole generation of genius college graduates who are turning our society into a Utopia, what we have is a generation of kids who work as cashiers and push the Big Gulp button, and hit the amount tendered so the machine will tell them how much change to give back.Dummies who have no skills but falsely inflated expectations. Trying to pay back student loans for a career they don't have. Another group of con men selling you a dream YOU AGREE TO PAY FOR! We have taught our children to value the wrong things,to expect to much and to -crumble at the possibility of failure. America is broke. We have run out of confidence and pride and grit and backbone ,

All the things that made us great to start with.I think it is a coincidence that we spell it Amer-I-CAN!

We got so busy feeding our egos and living a television delivered fantasy we quit keeping tabs on the important and looked what happened. Our country and our children have suffered. Our country and our future are in jeopardy. Who are you going to blame?
