APOCALYPSE MOM


Okay, since I simply just love all to pieces the very idea that women should be 100% equal and get paid just as much as men even if they aren’t the sole bread winner and that even if it endangers lives they should be allowed to be firefighters or police officers because even though you need upper body strength to satisfactorily perform those functions it would be sick and wrong to discriminate based on gender, although it is okay to be biased when it comes to paying child support or filling hiring quotas, but that is okay because clearly white males are just getting paid back for millennia of oppression and marriage is legal rape and you go sister, power to the vagina, I have no intentions of being unfair to woman and want to make very clear that by using the term “mom” I mean no disrespect for the superior sex and I am humbly asking forgiveness and am just implying a child rearing adult which could be any gender at all, but hopefully in the interest of diversity it is the third gender of homosexuality bi-racial and liberal. The child rearing adult gender can very well be a male, at least after breast feeding, unless such a choice of nourishment is belittling to the mother and endangers her equal pay job and then our chemical companies can feed the infant a substance close to food in the interests of a woman proving how independent and powerful she is.

Today’s article is becoming a stay at home mom, or Mr. Mom. Hey, even if women are paid 20% less in a clear indication of a biased corporate culture, they are becoming the choice of hire for that fact, plus their ability to assimilate into the hive of cubicles much better than males, who might have a hard tome suppressing their testosterone. And sometimes, even at 20% less, they earn more money by having a full time job compared to the males part time. Whoever makes more scratch should be the breadwinner. Male ego should not enter into equation when money is at stake. And all kidding aside, a homemaker position is every bit as important today as it was fifty years ago. Our money economy is in the process of dying and it no longer makes sense to have two income families. Mom staying home saves the family money, which is becoming increasingly scarce. And I’m not talking about just the increased taxes, car payment and wardrobe being barely above the extra take home pay. That was a good reason in the past to not work. The two income family put you at a disadvantage tax time, forced you to keep a second vehicle, and forced you to live at the level required by the job. But that was so ten years ago. Today, your savings are negative. It cost four times the amount to gas up the vehicles, twice as much to buy the car, a home in a good school district ( the hidden cost of “free” public school ) is unaffordable for two incomes, just had its property taxes doubled and is underwater.

In the very near future, houses will be even more unaffordable, gas will double in cost again, unemployment will rise, school quality will drop with budgets and food will double every six months. What I’m saying is that the costs of two incomes has already surpassed the benefits and literally the way of the future is that you can’t afford to be without a full time homemaker. Look, a two income family was only possible with cheap electricity and affordable appliances, cheap gasoline and affordable suburbs, and eating out and convenience foods possible for under ten percent of the family budget. None of those factors is applicable anymore. The future homemaker will fulfill the same function as one in the past- able to substitute labor for unavailable cash. Screw those femiNazi asshat bitches, a stay at home mom is a vital, indispensable component of a household. Far more important than a career. Mom at home avoids needing a car, quickly becoming unaffordable. The mortgage can be paid off faster with one income because she does the following- eliminates the produce bill by gardening, replaces a portion of the meat budget by raising eggs, eliminates the hidden school tax because she home schools. And, the most important thing historically ( we kind of forgot about this due to cheap petroleum subsidized factory food, but that era is ending and you MUST take this into account ), she cooked from scratch. Not only did that vastly reduce the food bill, another primary task was to make several basic ingredients taste palatable.

We have also forgotten about the necessity of good tasting food. Corporations have taken that over, although lately, especially since 2005’s Peak Oil Start, they have been replacing food taste more with extra salt and fat and chemicals. Humans have a built in need for variety in their food. Yet most of us globally live on just a few different types. To fool the body into eating, rather than reject familiar food with loss of appetite, you must make the same foods taste many types of different. The role of home cooking is vital in a time of increasing food costs. Now, I’m certainly not saying some women don’t do a great job juggling career and home. Just a crock pot alone can hide a multiple of sins in being away from the kitchen. But, more often than not, a homemaker not distracted by other tasks such as wondering if she is going to have to “be nice” to the boss to keep her job from being imported to India does a much better job domestically.

As food skyrockets in cost, as gasoline becomes unaffordable, as schools hurt kids more than help, as living in the overpriced McMansion becomes an exercise in futility, a stay at home mom or Mr. Mom starts to make much more sense. The time of all serfs toiling in the office and fed subsidized factory pellets is ending. Get a head start on going back to a traditional homemaker home while you still have control of the transition.
